Energy Management

Through sustained research and development efforts, we are well-positioned to achieve our 2030 energy reduction goals (2030 Target: STEC - 710 kCal/kg of Clinker and SEEC - 63 KWh/tonne Cement) and increase share of green power utilization to 60% by FY’28, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable low-carbon growth.

Key Intiatives

Our approach focuses on strengthening energy security, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and driving down overall consumption through smarter processes and greater efficiency.
Our facilities are ISO 50001 certified, ensuring that energy management systems meet international standards for continuous improvement in energy performance.
At the new projects being implemented and the old ones being upgraded, the Company uses technologies which are more efficient in energy consumption.
The improvements are driven by digital monitoring systems, process automation, and targeted investments in energy-efficient technologies. Our approach focuses on strengthening energy security, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and driving down overall consumption through smarter processes and greater efficiency.
Our active participation in the Government of India’s Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) scheme further underscores our commitment to energy conservation and emissions reduction. PAT identifies high-energy industries as designated consumers, requiring them to file annual energy consumption returns, conduct mandatory energy audits, and meet energy consumption norms. Verified savings are rewarded with energy savings certificates (Ecerts), which can be traded, promoting efficiency and emissions reduction across the sector.
We prioritise employee engagement and awareness, offering specialised training programmes on energy efficiency. This includes a dedicated in-house course on Energy and Emissions, accessible via our digital learning platform, E-Vidyalaya-Percipio.com.
