Occupational Health and Safety
Most of our operational sites are certified under ISO 45001, covering both employees and contractual workers. Regular audits and safety reviews help us maintain high standards and ensure ongoing compliance. Through these efforts, we continue to foster a workplace where safety is not just a requirement—but a shared responsibility and a fundamental part of how we operate sustainably.
Safety Governance
We have a multi-tiered governance structure. At the apex, Safety Council, comprising senior executives, sets the strategic direction, while the Steering Safety Council translates these strategies into actionable plans across business units. We have established dedicated taskforces at group, business and site level to ensure the effective implementation of safety protocols. At the site level, safety council convene quarterly to review performance, identify risks, and introduce new initiatives tailored to operational needs. The governance structure play a vital role in fostering workforce engagement and ensuring that safety measures remain responsive and continuously improved.Workplace Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment
We take a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards through our Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) Programme. This comprehensive system includes regular risk assessments, audits, studies, and job hazard analyses to detect and address safety risks across our operations. Risks are evaluated based on their severity and likelihood, and appropriate control measures are implemented accordingly.Safety Training and Capacity Building
Safety training programs are designed in a manner to strengthen our safety culture and ensure our teams are equipped to manage risks effectively. We identify critical safety training needs across our plants and responded with tailored programs to build competencies at every level. To promote learning and awareness, we organise safety workshops and circulate incident learning videos across our sites. These sessions help reinforce best practices and encouraged open dialogue around safety.Occupational Health Management
Health of employees and workers is a priority for the organization. Regular health checkups are conducted across all sites. Most of the operational locations are equipped with medical facilities, including hospitals, community health centers, or dispensaries, ensuring accessible care for the workforce. We continuously monitor employee health trends to proactively address any emerging concerns. In addition to serving our own workforce, the medical facilities also extend their services to the local communities, reinforcing our commitment to holistic well-being and social responsibility.
