13.8% higher than that of previous
year `8,504 crores. Average sales
realization improved by around 11% at
`4,400 per ton against approx.
`3,960 per tones in 2011.
Cement production increased modestly
by 3.1 % to reach 21.62 million |
tonnes from 20.97 million tonnes
while Clinker production increased to
15.81 million tonnes registering growth
of 7.5% over 14.70 million tonnes in
the year 2011.
Total operating costs in 2012 Increased
by 11.4 % over that of year 2011.
The company achieved an absolute |
EBITDA of `2,473 crores in 2012
which is higher by 25.09% over the
corresponding regrouped figure
(`1977 crores) of 2011. Net Profit at
`1229 crores improved by 5.6 % over
the corresponding figure of ` 1229
crores for the previous year.
